No. The patterns are digital PDF downloads only, and no physical items will be posted. You will need to source your own fabric and materials. We recommend cotton, linen, felt, or lightweight canvas, and you can also use fabric scraps or recycled clothing.

The patterns available are the Doll & Dollhouse Storybook, the Doll & Adventure Book, the Doll & Playtime Storybook, and the Bundle, which includes the Doll, Dollhouse, and Adventure Book patterns.

All patterns include both the girl and boy doll versions. The doll patterns are not available to purchase separately, as they are designed to be used with the books.

You're welcome to make items for yourself or as gifts and donations, but the patterns and any items made from them are not to be sold, shared, or reproduced commercially. This is to protect my designs as a small creator and to keep the patterns within the hobbyist community. We appreciate your understanding.

The completed books and dolls are designed for children aged 2 years and older.

However, they also make a wonderful gift for babies; while they may be too young to play with the small pieces now, the books are a lovely keepsake that they can grow into and enjoy as they get older.

As the books include small pieces, please supervise young children during play and make sure all pieces are securely stitched.

That said, sewing does take patience. It’s completely normal to unpick seams and redo steps, even after years of sewing.

All patterns are delivered as digital PDF files only. You can print them at home, or use a local print shop or library if you don't have a printer. Some customers choose to read and follow the step-by-step instructions on the screen of their phone, tablet, or computer, and only print the pattern pieces. This can help save on printing costs and paper. Asking a friend, family member or neighbour can also be an option.

Most people follow the instructions on their phone or tablet and only print the pattern pages. These are available in both US Letter and A4 format.

Each pattern includes the boy and girl doll pieces, plus everything you need for the book:

Doll and Dollhouse Storybook: 12 pages

Doll and Adventure Book: 14 pages

Doll and Playtime Storybook: 16 pages

If you've bought the Bundle (Dollhouse and Adventure Book), you only need to print the doll pages once, which brings it to 24 pages in total.

If you have all three patterns, you only need to print the doll pages once, which brings it to 38 pages in total.

The pattern pieces need to be printed to scale for the project to fit together correctly.

Each pattern includes a test square on the first page and clear printing instructions. It's important to print at 100% scale or 'actual size' and not "fit to page." Please also make sure you select the correct pattern file for your printer and paper size (A4 or US Letter). Both paper sizes are included in the download. If the test square on the first page measures correctly, your pattern will be the right size.

You can also use fabric scraps, recycled clothing, or leftover materials. These patterns are great for using what you already have.

If you’re after a quicker or simpler approach, felt is the easiest option for the elements.

No, it's optional, but it gives the books more structure. I use non-woven, heavyweight iron-on interfacing, which keeps the pages sturdy while staying slightly soft and flexible. Medium-weight interfacing also works, or use thin wadding or batting for a softer finish.

These are designed to be slow and enjoyable sewing projects.

The time it takes can vary depending on your experience, the materials you choose, and how much detail you add. Many people complete them over a few days.

Yes. All patterns now include both a girl and a boy doll, approximately 14 to 15 cm, designed to fit perfectly within the books.

If you bought before the boy doll was added, there's no need to order again. Just download the pattern again using the link from your original purchase, and it will include the boy doll pieces, instructions, shorts and T-shirt.

I don't sell clothing patterns for the dolls separately. The doll pattern already includes clothing patterns for a dress, a T-shirt, and shorts. These can be made multiple times using different fabrics, colours, and scraps, allowing you to create a variety of outfits.

Due to the nature of digital downloads, refunds aren’t generally offered once files have been received, downloaded, and accessed.
