What’s Inside My Sewing Boxes? Tools, Treasures & a Bit of Nostalgia ✂️

For my latest video on YouTube, I decided to show you the tools I use most for fuss-free sewing, along with some sentimental treasures I inherited from my mum, including a medicine bottle filled with buttons and my ‘Knitting Nancy’ from my childhood.

I know it’s not the most groundbreaking video idea, but personally, I love seeing the tools and creative processes of other artists – so I felt called to share my own.

If you’re into sewing, a sewist yourself, or just enjoy watching crafty people on the internet, I’d love for you to check out my latest video:

And if talking ‘craft’ lights you up as much as it lights me up, I’d be so happy to have you subscribe 🤗

Are you a sewist? If so, what are your go-to tools?

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below or over on YouTube – I love hearing from you!

Next week, I’ll be sharing a patchwork clothing item I made recently. I’m doing my best to work with what I have, minimising waste and overconsumption. Being thrifty and resourceful means making unique-looking clothing – so stay tuned!

Lauren 😊💗
