The sewing room is slowly taking shape 🧵✨
If you saw part one of my sewing room setup, you’ll know this space was a bit of a mess when we returned from our trip to Europe. Piles of boxes, fabric with no home, and some missing furniture. It felt a little overwhelming, but I also knew it would eventually come together if I gave it time.
This week, I’ve made some real progress and documented it all in a new video:
🎥 Sewing Room Setup Part 2 | Unpacking, Organising & Making It Feel Like Home
In this video, I share a few big changes that are already making a difference in how the room feels and functions:
-
I finally got a standing desk for sewing and cutting (no more kneeling on the floor 🙌)
-
I put together a new fabric shelf, which fits my space nicely
-
I unpacked my fabric stash and started stacking it on the shelves. I feel like having it visible and within arm’s reach will spark ongoing inspiration
There’s still more to do, but the creative energy is already shifting. I can feel it becoming my space.

Do you have a dedicated space for your creative work? How did you make it feel like yours? I’d love to hear your thoughts – leave a comment on the video 💛
Take care,
Lauren
