Fabric Sorting & Decluttering My Craft Cupboard 🧵✂️

I finally tackled my fabric stash that was getting out of control. What started as a simple sorting project turned into a full-on craft cupboard declutter! It’s funny how just getting started can give you the motivation to keep going.

I went through all my fabric, tiny scraps and all, colour-coordinated them, and organised my stash so that it’s easier to see what I have at a glance. Now, when I start a patchwork project, I won’t have to dig through a messy pile to find the right pieces!

I’m also keen to make more patchwork items and would like to have them colour-coordinated – unlike my most recent maximalist sewing project 😆 – you can watch that one here!

Sorting everything out also made me realise how much fabric I already own. I’m feeling inspired to use up what I have rather than buying more this year.

Do you keep your fabric stash or other craft supplies organised, or is it a colourful, creative mess? Let me know in the comments!
