Bob Dylan Jacket Reveal – Part 3 of the Series 🧵✂️

Part 3 of the Bob Dylan jacket series is here – the one where I share a timelapse of the process, add the finishing touches and bring the whole thing together. There’s something so satisfying about seeing a project come to life after hours of slow stitching and decision-making.

Not sure how many hours I put into this. I was in the flow and lost track of time… 😅

This piece was inspired by an original Bob Dylan denim jacket that recently sold at auction for $25,000 to Timothée Chalamet.

I just couldn’t help myself – I had to try making my own.

Of course, I used materials I already had on hand, so it’s not an exact replica… but I’m actually really happy about that. It ended up with a personality of its own, which feels just right.

In my latest YouTube video, I share a time-lapse of me completing the jacket, reflect a little at the end, and show some footage of my husband, Lorenz, modelling the finished piece (this was fun! 😂). It’s a men’s denim jacket, so I won’t be wearing it myself – I’ll likely be adding it to my Etsy shop in the coming days.

If you’ve been following this series, thank you for coming along for the ride. It’s been a joy to share the process with you.

You can watch Part 3 here!

I’d love to know if you’ve ever made something inspired by an artist or musician – feel free to share your own creative stories in the comments on the video.

And let me know your thoughts on the jacket! ☺️

Take care,

Lauren 💗
