Behind the Scenes of My Handmade Business 🧵

This week has been a ride in my creative business, and I’m excited to share it all with you in my latest YouTube video.

First up, I was over the moon about a custom order for a macramé handbag… until it turned out to be a scam…

Yep. 🙈🙃🥹

One of those too-good-to-be-true moments.

But don’t worry – it had a happy ending! I’m sharing what happened and what I took away from the experience.

On a more fun note, I’ve been designing a new sewing pattern (it’s my first one, actually) a fabric doll and a dollhouse! I’m deep in the testing phase, figuring out the details, and I’d love to hear what you think.

There’s also an upcycling project on my mind, inspired by Bob Dylan. I won’t give too much away, but I’m feeling creative about refashioning a denim jacket I bought on Depop last week!

I also picked up some fabrics from the op-shop that I’m sure will find their way into future projects.
